MGM Grand Wok & Sushi Bar

Anyone eaten here and what did you think? Probably not like Shibuya but is it good/worth the price? Looking for some decent Sushi rolls when out there the end of March.

Much thanks!!

MGM Grand Wok %26amp; Sushi Bar

I%26#39;ve enjoyed it for the prices they charge. Here%26#39;s my review from 2007 for 3 people:

Grand Wok:

Host%26#39;s assistant reserves waterfall room at 5pm for us. Very helpful because they don%26#39;t take reservations here. Ramp makes it easy to wheel mom up in her wheelchair.

Waterfall was really no big deal. Just wanted to try it once. Water trickling down black rock wall..... oh well I was curious. =)

2 Ice teas $3 each

One hot tea $3.25

5 pieces of Sashimi Red Tuna $18.75. Taste was average.

Honey Walnut Shrimp $24.75. Very tastey. Mom scarfed most of this.

Mushroom Chicken $17.75. Mushrooms we very tastey. Chicken tasted like breast and very tender.

Shrimp Fried Rice $19.50. Wife loved this and said it was the best she%26#39;d ever tasted.

I was distracted at dinner.... Part 3 should answer why.....

Total was $96.98 plus tip....

The sushi at Grand Wok is good and well worth the price. You are right, it isn%26#39;t like eating at Shibuya or other options on the strip, but the food is good, as is the service. We have eaten there our last four or five trips, including in January. Enjoy!

We ate here and thought it was only marginal, especially for the price. Did not have the sushi, but the other dishes were on par with Panda Express, IMO. Not bad, but not outstanding for a $60 dinner.

Great, thanks for the feedback and the details. Seems decent enough.

Ate there last week. It was good (opposed to great). We tried to get into Shibuya but couldn%26#39;t wait as we were seeing KA. We had sashimi, sushi, and a couple of entrees. Not top shelf - but it was reasonably priced and tasty.

Hmmmm. We thought much better than Panda Express.

(Grand Wok offers Asian - not just Japanese cuisine.)

I ate at Grand Wok a few times. It%26#39;s good. I like the Mongolian beef.

Have eaten there 4 different times, but for sushi only. Sushi is good for the price - spicy tuna and salmon are very good.
