Monte Carlo?

Hi!

I found a good deal in the Monte Carlo, and I was very happy about it till I started reading some reviews and now I have some doubts about my selection.

First time in Vegas, so I%26#39;m totally ignorant about everything!

Would you choose the Monte Carlo or go instead for Bally%26#39;s, Harrah%26#39;s or Flamingo?

I don%26#39;t ask too much, mainly cleaniness, but if the place is very run down it%26#39;s gonna be depressing, so I%26#39;m trying to avoid it :)

Monte Carlo?

Monte Carlo%26#39;s not run down, the criticisms are mostly around the noise/dust from the City Center construction next door, and the fact that the pool is currently closed.

Of your other choices, probably Flamingo is #1.

Monte Carlo?

Monte carlo is not bad at all. It%26#39;s not the inn place, but it%26#39;s decent, clean and you can get a good deal from them. Casino is pretty nice and the location is not bad either. For this money it is the best selection IMHO.

Thanks for the answers!

Now I%26#39;m checking some other deals so I%26#39;m going crazy with the decision. It is just two nights (the first one is gonna be in MGM, great deal!), but I want to take a good decision and have a good time.

OK, new options w/prices (really, there%26#39;s only few bucks of difference...)

Monte Carlo for 70 with 2 buffets and other freebies

Luxor for 60 room only, 70 with 2 per 1 things

MGM for 80 with some resort credit ($35 I think)

or NY NY for 68 room only

What you would choose?

Ah! and another question, do you think that is worth to spend the extra 30 or 40 dollars and stay in one of these hotels instead of Harrah%26#39;s, Flamingo, etc???

Thanks!!!!

We like Monte Carlo and the location is really great. It is just as good as Ballys and Flamingo imho. Ballys also has a great location and is attached to Paris. I read a post on this forum a little while ago that said somebody called the hotel and the pool will be open March 1.

But you would say that the rooms are similar?

Personally, I think you would be silly to stay in a different hotel each night. Wouldn%26#39;t you rather spend less of your precious time checking in and checking out and moving luggage?

Just stay at MGM for both nights.

No, it%26#39;s one night at MGM, and then 2 nights somewhere else...

Personally I would stay at the MGM the entire time to avoid the hassles of checking in and checking out. The Monte Carlo won%26#39;t be as bad with the lines, but I%26#39;ve had well over 1 hour waits to get into Flamingo.
