mirage or mgm

I can stay at mgm for 59/night at the end of March or for $20 more per night I can book a room at the Mirage. I like the location of Mirage but price at mgm is good. What do you think?

I have stayed at both numerous times. Just returned from the Mirage. Personally, the location of the Mirage is great, but I prefer the MGM. If you like to walk, stay there (there%26#39;s also a monorail station there if you don%26#39;t like to walk!)

Depending on when you%26#39;re going, they both have unbelieveable pools if that%26#39;s important. MGM has more restaurants/places to eat. Casino is MUCH bigger.

You can%26#39;t go wrong with either IMO.

I would book depending on what you were going to do in Vegas.

They are my number 1 and number 2 favorite places to stay in LV. You won%26#39;t go wrong with either.

MGM bigger, lots of restaurants, clubs and action.

Mirage is somewhat smaller and quieter (but by no means small or quiet) and perhaps a little more upscale (but that can be debated).

Both are walking distance to other good hotels.

Mirage at $20 more a night is worth it. Renovated rooms and a nice pool. MGM has deals like this all the time...Mirage less so. Take the Mirage and go with its better location.

MGM Grand...I like the atmosphere and the casino WAY better there! I find the Mirage%26#39;s casino dark and kind of dull and I just don%26#39;t like the low ceilings!

Location isn%26#39;t a huge deal for me because there is so much to do and see everywhere in Vegas! Besides, it%26#39;s just an easy walk, cab or Monorail ride up the Strip.

Both are GREAT properties but MGM gets my vote due to price and casino atmoshpere!

MGM is awesome - especially for $59 per night. Awesome bed and much bigger bathroom than the Mirage (better room service too). For the price, keep the $20 + tax in your pocket.

I agree with most of the reply%26#39;s. I just stayed at the MGM and Loved it! Actually we were upgraded from the MGM to their most expensive Signature hotel all for free. It was a great surprise to have payed so cheaply for a 5 star hotel stay. We booked originally with expedia and had saved at least 500 dollars on that originally. No matter which hotel we ended up in, it was a great cheap stay for such a great hotel!

Stay at the MGM. It is a great hotel that has everything, and I actually preferred its location to others. Use that 20 bucks extra on food/gambling etc.
