Non gaming, great pool, off strip upscale hotel- girls trip

I%26#39;m headed to the Vegas area with my mom (64 going on 40), myself (40), and sister (30). We%26#39;re all from various parts of the country wanting to meet up for a relaixing weekend. We%26#39;re interested in soaking up the sun, drinks by the pool, working out and spa treatments, and being close to good restaurants. I am paying for this, so I%26#39;d like to spend around $250 per night for a nice sized hotel room, (thinking a 4 star). I%26#39;ve been to Vegas many times, but we always stay at THEhotel, and that%26#39;s not what I%26#39;m looking for. Any suggestions???

Ditto on JW Marriott. Fabulous pool!! But you%26#39;ll need a rental car. Stayed there about 6 years ago and loved it. Check out their website.

Was thinking of the Green Valley Ranch, as i%26#39;ve stayed there before and it seems like a safe bet, but i%26#39;d like to branch out. I%26#39;ll read up on it and get some pricing!

why non-gaming and off strip? You can get all you want on strip with a casino, if you don%26#39;t want to eliminate places like palazzo (good room for 3 ladies).

for off strip L Lake Las vegas is fabulous.

well I didn%26#39;t do too well before hitting enter, sorry. Try the Ritz at Lake Las Vegas, then Lowe%26#39;s.

The Platinum Hotel and Spa has everything you are looking for: indoor/outdoor pool, huge rooms, restaurant, spa, located just off the strip.

Hey Dana, At $250 per night, you can get pretty much anything you want and judging by the 64 going on 40 comment about your Mom, she may want to be in the action.

Red Rock Resort I%26#39;ve heard is pretty cool, but it is gaming. There are timeshare properties which are non-gaming. Jockey Club, Polo Towers, Marriott Grand Chateau, Hilton at Flamingo and Hilton on LV Strip are just a few.

You also may want to give The Mirage a try. Not like THE Hotel and I think you may like it. There is also Wynn and Encore, as well as The Venetian and Palazzo.

The sky is the limit, with your bankroll. Enjoy.

Sounds like the Four Seasons Hotel is what your looking for.

If she doesn%26#39;t want THEHotel, then she probably doesn%26#39;t want 4 seasons.

Try the Signature at MGM. You can go through vrbo.com and rent directly with owner, or book through MGM. The Sig has large rooms, non gaming, non smoking. Connected to MGM Grand via covered walkway. Has pools(s) or you can use MGM%26#39;s pool which is one of the best. You can get Jr Suites, one or two bedroom suites.
