Bally's

Hi

This is my first trip to Vegas. We are going at the end of April and staying at Bally%26#39;s. Any info you can give me on it would be helpful. Nice rooms? Are the restaurants good and a decent price? What is the poker room like and the competition-fish or sharks? What are the table blinds, do they have $1-$2 dollar tables or are they highter? Any info.would be appreciated.

We%26#39;ve stayed there. The rooms in the north tower are very nice. They are big and have recently been remodeled. For the most part, it%26#39;s a quiet hotel. The casino is a big rectangle so it%26#39;s easier to find your way around. You don%26#39;t get lost. It%26#39;s pretty small. It%26#39;s connected to Paris by a big hallway. There is a burger place in the hallway that is very good. There is a little deli right by the entrance to the south tower that is good--called Nosh. The cafe is just like most. Great for a big breakfast. The steakhouse there is good with good service. Not great, but plenty good. Julibee is a review there that is worth seeing. I wouldn%26#39;t spend money on the PRICE IS RIGHT show. I didn%26#39;t enjoy it much. Jubilee is like an old Las Vegas show. Topless, but they have on some many jewels, you%26#39;ll hardly notice. I think they have one show at certain times of the week that isn%26#39;t topless. You could check with the box office if you want to know more about it. I%26#39;m not a good poker player. I played in there poker room once and felt about as good as the others at the table. I think my table was a $2.00 limit table. They have all kinds. It%26#39;s not like some poker rooms. It%26#39;s kind of out in the open. Harrah%26#39;s, right down the street, has a great poker room. The people there might know how to play pretty well though. Hope you have a great time.

I know it isn%26#39;t the most recent, but I did post pictures if you want to see a room in the North Tower.

We eat at the Sidewalk Cafe each trip. Their prices and food is good. You can view the menu online. Go to www.ballyslv.com, the go to dining and choose a restaurant. We%26#39;ve also ate at Johnny%26#39;s deli on the lower level - it%26#39;s a fast food type place. The Java Coast near the check-in has some grab and go food like cookies, danishes, coffee, bottled tea, etc. The great thing is that it is connected to Paris so if you don%26#39;t find something you like to eat at Bally%26#39;s, Paris is only a few steps away.

if u like Margaritas....there%26#39;s a tequila bar in Ballys off the casino...love it there

Ballys is one of our fav places to stay! South tower has nicer views, but North tower has nicer rooms; all are very large, south is just dated. The Tequilas has happy hour w/ half price margs %26amp; appy specials each afternoon (and at $9/marg, that helps!)

Planet Hollywood %26amp; TI are my fav poker rooms. Harrahs is nice, too, and I%26#39;ve heard MGM has a great one (I just never seem to make it down there) You can find all levels of play at all casinos.

There is our review. We were there three weeks ago and really enjoyed our stay. The location is wonderful and you can get terrific room rates there! We would go back there without a doubt.
