We are traveling with a 16 year old who will not have a photo id at the time we travel. A parent will be present. What form of id is valid?

No ID is necessary for anyone under 18.
From Continental%26#39;s website:
Children under the age of 18 traveling with an adult are not required to show ID at time of check-in
According to tsa website effective 6/2008 all adult passengers(18 and older) need ID.
