We%26#39;re going to Vegas for the first time in one month. We haven%26#39;t booked any hotel yet. Still doing research. What is this card and when and where do I get it?

Hopefully this link will help:

Other hotels groups, like MGM, have their own Players Cards.

It%26#39;s worth getting players cards even if you don%26#39;t gamble. There are often gifts just for signing up and it will keep you on the hotels%26#39; radar for possible future offers. Remember, NEVER play with comps in mind. Gamble what you csn afford to lose and look upon any comps as a bonus.

It%26#39;s the player%26#39;s card for Harrahs, which owns 6 or so casinos in Vegas. If you are going to do a lot of gambling, and are willing to spend almost all that time in their casinos, it%26#39;s worth getting the card. Just sign up for it in any of their resorts.

your better off with an MGM card. Total Rewards is a misnomer.

A misnomer, why?

Last year I lost $600 at Harrah%26#39;s properties, according to their win/loss statement. When I booked my room for this year I got a discount of over $600 from their standard rates.

If you are planning to go back to Vegas on future trips, with minimal play you will likely get discounted or totally comped meals. For my play,I usually get all meals comped or taken off total rewards points.

Also applies to properties in Atlantic City. That%26#39;s where we get all of our TR comps.
